National Award-winning actor Dhanush has a busy 2020 ahead of him starting with Pattas, which hits the screens as a Pongal treat on January 16. His second film of the year, D40, under blockbuster director Karthik Subbaraj is being produced by S. Sashikanth’s Y Not Studios banner and music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Recently the actor took his social networking handles to announce that he has wrapped up shooting his portions for D40. Furthermore, he also revealed that it was one of the quickest special films he has shot till date while declaring Karthik Subbaraj to be a quirky, sensible and visionary filmmaker. The upcoming gangster action thriller also includes Malayalam actress Aishwarya Lekshmi, who was last seen in Vishal starrer Action, playing the female lead while Sanchana Natarajan of NOTA and Game Over fame also plays an important role in the film’s narrative.
Madras, Kabali and Thaanaa Serndha Koottam fame, actor Kalaiyarasan and Malayalam actor Joju George are also part of D40.
